Situation
Global organization’s Japanese office needed a support to work with senior global stakeholders for their Route To Market negotiation with local distribution partner.
Task
• Work with a global & local project team to complete a Value Chain analysis.
• Work with senior global stakeholders, to ensure Japanese team are fully utilising global resource, and equipped with global toolkit.
• Ongoing communication with Regional President, to ensure he is up to date on project progress.
Result
• Utilizing global toolkit meant that 1) allow local team to receive input from experienced global stakeholders 2) improved efficiency & quality of output 3) reduced the miscommunication between global & local team
• Value Chain analysis completed and presented to Regional President
• Value Chain analysis armed the Japanese team with valuable information prior to entering negotiation
